This painting is a Mandala that depicts the journey of a Soul... from the Spirit World to birthing into the Physical World... to Youth/Adolescence... to Adulthood... to Death... and back to the Spirit World. The Circles represent the Spirit World. The Squares represent the Physical World. The Triangle represents birthing the Spirit World into Physical Form. The colors Red, Black, White, and Yellow represent the four races of the Earth. Red and Black are also the colors of the Ancestral Orisha "Elegua", the Gate Keeper in Ifa traditions. The symbols in the four corners represent the four Senses in Tibetan Buddhism.
